We at Peninsula design and create Made in Italy lifestyle garments with the sea in our hearts, the most authentic inspiration of our Italian feeling.
The sea is life, it’s strength, it’s energy: the sea is our passion and, as such, we respect and protect it.

The beauty of the sea must be protected: it’s a precious gift that occupies 70% of our planet playing a fundamental role for the survival of human and animal beings.
Loving the sea implies taking care of it and preserving it from pollution and waste – over 10 million tons – which endanger the present and future of this fragile ecosystem.

Ethics and sustainability are the values at the base of our mission: if fashion is one of the most polluting sectors in the world, we have decided to try to reverse this trend by reducing our impact on the environment.
How?
Making our supply chain as sustainable as possible, using regenerated polyester for the production of swim trunks, creating packaging with marine algae from certified harvests and selecting partner companies according to sustainability criteria.
All our garments are made to last and to be regenerated according to a virtuous economic circularity perspective.

Peninsula swim&wear is a transparent and clean brand, just like the sea we envisage, and for this we give our active support to the WWF and Marevivo. Because safeguarding and enriching the sea means protecting the environment and biodiversity but also protecting beauty, history and our being human.

EDOARDO PASOLINI
Peninsula swim&wear founder
I have loved the sea since I was a small child. Maremma’s coast, Mount Argentario’s breathtaking promontory and Capalbio’s wild shores are the places that saw me grow up, and the places I hold eagerly in my heart. To be embraced by their energy was, and still is, a truly extraordinary thing.
My friends used to call me ‘sea sponge’; I would spend as much time as I possibly could in the water and to this day it showers me with the exact same feelings of serenity and vigour.
There’s something about swimming farther and farther away from the shore that grounds you into the present moment. As the sea bed becomes darker and the sounds around you begin to fade it’s as if you reach the place where the sea unravels, and showcases all of its true beauty and might.
It was during one of those moments, some years ago, when I realised I was hovering over what turned out to be a bed of plastic and waste. I realised the nature I was so fond of had changed, and would keep changing towards something I would one day no longer recognise.
We all, collectively, must act before we have passed the point of action. We must do what we can in order to protect our seas and return them to their pure and unaltered forms.
