I have loved the sea since I was a child. The Maremma coast, the promontory of Monte Argentario and the coast of Capalbio are the places where I grew up and have always been in love with. Wonderful and wild places. Places with a unique energy, difficult to explain because it can only be loved. Here nature makes me feel alive. I smell the scent of oleanders and rosemary in bloom, I see the warm sunlight shine and the reflections of the saltiness on the golden skin. I imagine the lips wet by the sea, the stolen kisses and the laughter between friends.

And then the boat trips to the island of Giglio, when the colors of the sunset blend with the blue of the sea, illuminating the profile of Montecristo. Parties on the beach or in the old towers, the light of the bonfires as we dance embracing with the sound of the waves covering the music. This is the Maremma. My Maremma. That nature that makes you feel alive. That timeless elegance made of essentiality and sensuality. That unique land where time vanishes and only magic remains. Maremma speaks of all of Italy
And this is where I wanted to create Peninsula Swimwear . Here I wanted to start a journey to tell the beauty and sensuality of all our enchanted PENINSULA.
MAJOLICA
The blue of the sky and the sea, the bright colors of the sun and a terrace overlooking the Gulf of Naples. Adolescence, 19 years, friends at sunset. Flavors, colors and sensations that blend in complete harmony with the bright colors of Positano majolica. It was on that terrace overlooking the sea and bathed in sunshine that we came into contact with the great beauty of these majolica tiles… hopping with little leaps on the colored tiles, we admired their ornaments and their thousand patterns.
The harmony and liveliness of their glazes and their colors are a source of inspiration for us….we immediately decided that these precious Mediterranean paintings would be an integral part of our being and therefore of our collections. So that we were inspired by this ancient artisan tradition, by the blue, yellow and green, by the vivacity of its colours, by its floral and geometric prints. Thus the sensuality and harmony of majolica have become part of our essence.
